This is the second or third time this has happened recently with the remains of a naive Iowan. Donald Stott was killed during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor while serving on the USS Oklahoma. His remains, like those of so many others, were buried in Hawaii without being identified. After being contacted Stott's family agreed to participate in an attempt to make a DNA match, which was a success. Stott will be reburied in March.
