This might be a little tougher than Putin thought...

Just a snippet, and I cannot find the article I read yesterday, but it was about another incident near Belgorod where a Russian bomber lost the loss of a guided bomb prematurely over their air space. One incident resulted in Russian deaths, this bomb landed in a field. The takeaway is that the Russians are suffering from poor aircraft maintenance and handling, in addition to poor tactics. They are loading up munitions that are too heavy for the hard points on certain aircraft. Either from incompetence, or because commanders are ordering crews to take risks.
Either way it is not the sign of a well run military.

I'm not too up on Twitter, but the video has been taken down. It's on You Tube, still, if you didn't catch it here.

Thanks, T. When I look at those numbers, it bottles the mind. To think a country could lose nearly a thousand MLRS systems, for instance, and just keep bringing more forward.
Is that a thousand schools that didn’t get built?
I honestly think we are not overwhelming Ukraine for a decisive victory with more weapons is to keep Russia breaking themselves on the frontlines. Letting Russia slowly but surely destroy its entire military and all trained troops while they slide economically and population wise is quite good for the US. Ukraine is like a giant honey pot.

I understand the “bleed them out“ thought, but the losses to Ukraine are heart breaking. Give them the tools to end this long running diasaster.

Agree. Hopefully they will open up the flood gates. I mean, if the Biden admin was ruthless, they would go all in and try to get a victory before the election with Biden being treated as a liberator in downtown Kyiv in October.

I don’t think that’s it. Initially I believe we were genuinely concerned about a nuclear response. That only went away with a slow boiling of the frog. I wish f-16s were implemented sooner as there is simply a lot that goes into supplying, operating, and maintaining them that takes time and resources. But, they weren’t.
