A major aspect of this conflict is the information and propaganda war.
We have a popular American “news” talking head regurgitating Russian propaganda nearly verbatim to a large swath of easily manipulated Americans.
That matters and is worth discussion. It also is not “political” — it’s discussion of media, warfare and which side is effectively wielding info warfare.

You are a poor student of history if you don’t know that public sentiment, shaped by information, is a critical factor in any conflict.

Just keep in mind that "being neutral" on the war in WWII Germany didn't work out all that well for most German citizens who were required to "tour the camps" afterwards.
Pretending it's a "both sides" thing is most often a cop-out, IMO.
