This might be a little tougher than Putin thought...

Winning lol? Did you just forget that they lost 4 territories TODAY? Ukraine can’t win and never will. We can use them as little toys to prop ourselves up, but they’ll never win. Ever.

Losing 4 territories how? Did I miss something or are you referring to territories Putin "annexed?"

Apparently France is almost as bad as Germany when it comes to letting it military waste away.

"Contrary to the statements of the former Defense Minister,
@florence_parly
the aid paid to Ukraine is assessed at 4 billion € by the Senate Defense Committee. 25% of Caesar st in (Ukraine) . There remain 250 (aircraft) of the 700, 30 years ago. In 2022, there are 220 tanks left out of 1350, from 1991."

Ukrainian troops have repelled continued enemy
attacks near the Donetsk Oblast villages of New York, Zaitseve, and Soledar
over the past day, the Ukrainian military’s General Staff said in its morning
report on Oct. 1.

Russian invasion forces are still concentrating all their efforts on trying to entirely occupy Donetsk Oblast and maintain control of previously occupied territories – as well as undermining the Ukrainian army’s offensive operations in various other locations, the General Staff said.

Russian forces on Sept. 30 carried out four missile and 15 air strikes, as well as over 85 MLRS attacks on military and civilian objects in Ukraine.

Over the course of the day, Ukrainian aviation conducted eleven strikes. It was confirmed that an enemy stronghold, six enemy storage locations of weapons and military equipment, and four hostile air defense systems had been struck.

In addition, Ukrainian air defense units shot down three UAVs and a Ka-52 helicopter.

Artillery units struck eleven control centers of varying levels, as well as eight sites where there were large concentrations of troops, weaponry, and military equipment. In addition, fourteen additional Russian military facilities were targeted, including ammunition depots, anti-aircraft missile systems, river crossings, radar systems, and reconnaissance posts.

Furthermore, the leadership of the Russian military, according to the General Staff, has been forced to prematurely deploy cadets of military schools to the war due to a serious shortage of personnel – particularly officers.

As a result, cadets from the Tyumen Military School will graduate early. The graduates will be reassigned to primary officer positions in military units manned by mobilized reserve personnel.

"STOCKHOLM -- Would-be NATO member Sweden on Friday announced it will allow exports of arms to Turkey, which had threatened to block the Scandinavian nation’s application to join the 30-member defense alliance.
The decision means that Sweden, which has sought NATO membership along with neighboring Finland, will lift an arms embargo it had imposed on Ankara in 2019 after Turkey’s military operation against the Kurdish militia known as the YPG in Syria.

Once-neutral Finland and Sweden are abandoning what in Sweden’s case has been 200 years of military nonalignment, driven to join NATO’s mutual defense pact in the wake of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and its continuing war there.
Turkey’s parliament has yet to ratify Sweden and Finland’s membership in NATO, and Friday's step was widely seen as aimed at securing Ankara’s approval. A delegation from Sweden is expected in Ankara next week to discuss Turkish requests for the extradition of figures wanted by Turkey."

I just don’t know what what info is accurate. Is it completely surrounded with 5k Russians ready to surrender or be destroyed, or have the Russians withdrawn?
Best I can tell is most just fled leaving a few pockets behind. Sounds like the ones that have left are being ass kicked on their way out the door which may be where the slaughter happens. I think many fled at night. Reports of a ton of fighting there at night. I will go on record as saying I predict tomorrows update will have an extra digit for the daily Russian dead.
