Are they going to get Russia to pay for it?I presume Finland will be roundly mocked for trying to increase border security in this manner:
Absolutely. Those displays are mesmerizingI’ve seen enough drone light shows on YouTube to acknowledge it’s just a matter of time.
I thought knocking out the enemy’s power generation was a normal part of war.
You couldn’t park like that with any fear from air or artillery. Which would be amazingly good news.
"**** the EU" was a lot more pithy.
I'd grudge f Olga to insert my nato domination into her privates.
That’s incredible. Listening to that correspondent you’d think Ukraine invaded Russia and Russia was the noble defender.
That part was great. However, the perverse claim that it is common practice for Ukraine to blow up civilian centers such as those in Mariupol when Russia itself carried out those war crimes, was a bit much. They all know it's bullshit, but I'm not sure their Russian viewers do.That’s incredible. Listening to that correspondent you’d think Ukraine invaded Russia and Russia was the noble defender.
The other noticeable thing was the disappointment on their faces. They know Russia has been exposed as a worthless, toothless, shithole country and without nukes would have little influence on the world stage.
Oh, for sure. A lot of that was pure propaganda and projection. That part was great. It’s all projection from Russia. Town being destroyed by artillery, Ukraine. People being tortured and murdered, Ukraine. When he says they are worried about chemical weapons I would be worried if I was UA. They will use them and blame Ukraine.
It hasn’t happened yet.IIRC, you were one of the posters who denied it would happen.
Throw in security measures, maintenance and the service they're providing...in an active war zone
I think the main security measures include continued adaptation to evade Russian jamming efforts, and updating real-time geo fencing along the changing frontlines. What "security measures", outside of what is standard encryption methods?
What "maintenance"? He's not sending repair crews to either Ukraine, or "into space"; he has a fixed cost, which is "launching satellites".
$4k sounds an awful lot like "extortion" vs the normal $60/month subscription costs (and the modems being sent ARE being paid for)
It's literally happening NOWIt hasn’t happened yet.
They use beam-forming tech to their "modems". There really isn't much "jamming" the Russians can do.I think the main security measures include continued adaptation to evade Russian jamming efforts, and updating real-time geo fencing along the changing frontlines.
Give 'em asylum, extract the useful info
LOL. He isn't even an elected official currently. This has about as much impact as my plumber calling for the US to continue support for Ukraine.Pence calls for the US to continue to support Ukraine 'until peace is restored' after Kevin McCarthy suggests GOP will slow aid

I think Musk has a point here, but going to Twitter to cry about is is not the appropriate, or professional response. If Musk had some friends in Congress he could start putting pressure on them to help offset the costs SpaceX is incurring. If that doesn't work, there are other ways of getting the word out without sounding like a petulant child. Most people would support proper funding if he just wasn't such a bitch about it.
All I know is what I read. They use beam-forming tech to their "modems". There really isn't much "jamming" the Russians can do.
I would not suspect these measures are significantly above normal ops for that tech.
What you read was propaganda from Musk. All I know is what I read.
