#1 defense in the country….hard to judge.I say fail.
Uh, I'm perfectly fine. It's a game. Have you stopped drinking, dude?#1 defense in the country….put down the shotgun dude.
No. It’s a game. Point being is this game means Jack shit. College football is so broken.Uh, I'm perfectly fine. It's a game. Have you stopped drinking, dude?
You good. I just thought Iowa could take the next step.No. It’s a game. Point being is this game means Jack shit. College football is so broken.
Sorry, my post was a bit dramatic. You’re a good poster, didn’t mean to be over the top.
It was promising for a half. Think that’s why it sucks more. If the final score was 35-7 with 21-0 and 14-7 halves that would’ve been easier to stomachYou good. I just thought Iowa could take the next step.
Ohio St's entire game plan was to stop KJ and the run game, and force McNamara to try and beat them.I say fail.
Yep. Cade can’t beat you. He was completing passes but not for many yards. That under throw on third down to Wetjen still upsets me. It was a great play by him up until the throw.Ohio St's entire game plan was to stop KJ and the run game, and force McNamara to try and beat them.
The game went exactly the way everyone knew it would.
NOBODY should be the least bit surprised about how that game played out - other than maybe the two OSU lost turnovers & Iowa actually ending their scoreless drought against ranked teams.
KJ talking shit going into the game didn't help matters, either.
kaleb is fine the ol is no 2002 or 2009 lineKaleb has improved but he’s no Shaun Greene
the thing that stood out stark raving naked to me were the numerous holds away from the los even. zero excuse not to call those. One thing that immediately stood out to me was how good OSU was at shedding blocks. Any holes that were there, were gone in a hurry.
Nebraska has a good DL, but not anything like what we saw today.
Agreed. Safeties and linebackers are cheating up one step expecting run every play. You have to throw to open the run. Play action and throwing it long early would havw helped instead of running consistently into a 9 man box. 5 can’t block 9 at any level. This loss has nothing to do with the running game. Until Iowa can develop some semblance of a passing game, you can't expect the running game to consistently produce against better defenses. Balance is key, and Iowa still doesn't have that.
Next step? We still have the same head coach. You good. I just thought Iowa could take the next step.
Or Shonn Greene.Kaleb has improved but he’s no Shaun Greene
