How did I want it to go?

Modelo Especial is poised to be the #1 beer in terms of sales in the U.S. in 2023. Which is of course owned by AB-InBev. They technically don’t own distribution rights in the U.S. but it’s definitely one of their brands.Long term growth is shown in brands like Modello. That is who is taking market share. Mexican brands.
“Porters and stouts,” he wants us to believe.Even though professional victims like the OP are crowing, Bud Light and a lot of traditional beers have been steadily losing market share. Demographic changes are at work that don't fit in Northern's narrative. I'd love to know what beers the supposed wave of red blooded totally heterosexual champions of this boycott are moving to?
LOL. I don't drink it. Porters and stouts for me.
Not sure how that makes me a bitch but whatever.
You’re a cyclist and you drink porters and stouts? Fine if you ride like I do in the middle of winter. In the summer though after pedaling hard through 90 degrees and 90% humidity? Gross.

I don’t know if the increase in market share of Modelo Especial will be enough to recoup lost sales of BL, Budweiser, Busch Light, and Mich Ultra. Long term consequences probably won’t be apparent until the end of this year.
I prefer Dos Equis, but Modelo is aiight. I have to really be thirsty to drink a Bud Light.Interesting
Is that the most popular beer in Mexico?
A runner as well. And yes, porters and stouts. On occasion a dark or amber lager. If I want water, I'll drink water.
YupI love a good stout or porter - perfect cold weather beers, but they’re definitely not my “mowing beer.”
Snowflake
This too shall pass just as it did for Chick-fil-A, the NFL, Salvation Army, and Best Buy.
Corona Extra is still the flagship brand worldwide from what used to be Grupo Modelo. Im guessing it’s also still the #1 beer sold in Mexico as well.Interesting

I don’t let any of this nonsense affect where I buy or what I buy. I wasn’t shopping at Target before, I wasn’t drinking Bud light before, and my NFL team was worse than my Sunday hangovers from the Iowa games.
Have all the pride and celebrations of it you want… just leave the kids alone, and enjoy the blessings of liberty.
Maybe it's unintended consequences of AB insulting its customer base. And do you really expect the general beer drinker to give two sh---s about the sales rep? Do you expect them to care more about the rep than AB does?Unintended consequences of cancel culture. Maybe those butt hurt people should have thought about their actions before boycotting.
How did they insult their customer base?Maybe it's unintended consequences of AB insulting its customer base.
Guinness is underrated as a dry Irish stout.@Hawki97 Yesterday I indulged in Boone Valley Halligan Porter, Guinness and Exile G.G. Dunkel Lager.
I just finished a 8 mile run around the lake. It was a spectacular run.
Dey turned mah beer inta queer beer. Drinking that would be the same as gittin the wrong colored blood. Just wuddin be right. How did they insult their customer base?

Ranks right up there with craft brews IMO. Impressive, for a long-time production beer staple.
An ad exec said they wanted to get rid of Bug Light's "fratty" and "out of touch" image. How did they insult their customer base?
I'll try again. How did they insult their customer base? Specifically, how does using a trans model in an ad insult their customer base?An ad exec said they wanted to get rid of Bug Light's "fratty" and "out of touch" image.
It also didn't help that Mulvany self identifies as a six year old girl and not an adult woman, and most of his followers are under 21 years old.
If I can get yelled at in college for ordering a Dominos pizza because Dominos sold Pepsi products and Pepsi was doing business in South Africa (yes, that actually happened), then Bud Light marketing directly to children is at least equally worthy of criticism.
You don't think calling someone fratty and out of touch is insulting?I'll try again. How did they insult their customer base? Specifically, how does using a trans model in an ad insult their customer base?
Dude, So you're trying to claim it wasn't the trans model that caused the freak out, it was all this other stuff? Really? You don't think calling someone fratty and out of touch is insulting?
And no, using a trans model in an ad did not itself insult the customer base, but the explanation for the reason it was done, did. Even if Bud Light execs were right and their customers were fratty and out of touch, they were still the ones keeping the lights on. They had to expect some kind of pushback from the ads, so not having a viable response to it added to the problem. They could have responded with something like "Bud Light celebrates You being You. Be the best You possible!" Instead, they chose to go with "we don't want you as customers anymore, so f- off." And their customers said, "okay, if you insist."
Amazing how Conservatives let these slide, back in the day....
What's changed?
What changed?
Maybe the left's push for provocative drag shows for minors.
What changed?
Maybe the left's push for provocative drag shows for minors. Or maybe biological males eroding female sports. Or maybe the push for biological males to be able to use female locker rooms and bathrooms.
What changed?
Maybe the left's push for provocative drag shows for minors. Not happening. Or maybe biological males eroding female sports. Not happening Or maybe the push for biological males to be able to use female locker rooms and bathrooms. issue we need to figure out.

To be fair those wouldn’t slide today by the demoncrats. That was back during a time when people could take a joke, but there’s nothing funny about mental illness.Amazing how Conservatives let these slide, back in the day....

You don’t find it a little weird the DM Public library hosted men in drag reading to children and their families a couple Sunday’s ago?Link?
All you're gonna find are rightwing accusations, and zero examples.
Noticed that too.I’m just glad the boycott hasn’t affected BUD’s stock price.
So, I'll take that as a "no".You don’t find it a little weird the DM Public library hosted men in drag reading to children and their families a couple Sunday’s ago?
People can do what they want but that’s a little out there to me.
Why do people think products need to take a stand on trans issues? Just sell beer and go home. This was a huge unforced error. And coors light has been an advocate of LGBT for a long time. Idk what's more funny the idiots switching from bud light to Busch light thinking it's effecting anything or the ones switching to coors light who are even more progressive than anheuser. Just a bunch of f'ing idiots
