Tickets Prices Dropping A Bit

It would be a heck of a lot easier to sell tickets if it was easier to get to LA. There isn't enough time for anyone to make plans to get there for a decent price anymore.

As of right now, there are 6k tickets on stubhub and about 7k more on the other major reselling sites. Most likely some of those are tickets that are listed on more than one site. Best guess is that there are over 10k tickets for sale. Thats slightly higher than when i looked last friday.

Yep, I think these ticket prices completely bottom out soon. Talking like $100 below face.

there are still over 5800 tickets on stubhub, most recent sales have been in the $150-$180 range.

anyone doing some marketing research on this? seems like a great grad student project.

btw - i'm sure there are at least 30k that are not accounted for by real attendees .... just people that accumulated them to resell at the game / or in iowa city. seen it already with 150s going for 450 - and now they still want 230 ....

and the Stanfords got 8 k extra ... i'm sure there are at least 10 k from them trying to resell half their take to try to go for free. get 4 for 180 - sell 2 at 360 ea.

I have 2 tickets next to my 2 that are behind the Iowa bench , 33 rows up section 18, on about the 42 yard line.
$400 each cash, firm , in Iowa City. Friends backed out last night.

Anyone that bought for the sole purpose of reselling at an inflated price deserves to lose their ass.
