If somebody feels the need to donate money to University because they want to, by all means do so. If they do that to get season tickets they are not a smart person not good with money.

That being said, this is an unbelievably huge game and people who want to buy a ticket are going to have to pony up some money..

Guess somebody doesn't get season tickets... Or sits in the end zones because they're good with money and doesnt donate for better seats.

My wife and I love each other, but she's very feminine. And I'm glad that her hobbies don't include taking part in masculine activities. Hey Doug and OP, are your wives also in your fantasy football leagues too?

I enjoy going to the game with my friends, family, and old fraternity brothers to get "guys time."

Why didn't you just tell me you were in a frat in the first place? That answers a lot of my questions.

And believe it or not, my wife, and my friends' wives all get along, so we're able to do these things together. Crazy, I know.

My wife and the wives of my friends and brothers all get along splendidly too. Luckily they have their weekends together on occasion, which frees me up to attend Iowa games, and other fun male-centric activities.

When you were unsure that your kids' grandparents couldn't babysit, was it even an option to ask a friend to go to the game instead? Or your oldest kid? I find it interesting on why you didn't just pick up 2 tickets when the gettin' was good.
