Tim Ryan > JD Vance

I don't understand that....polling I've seen is essentially 50/50.

Maybe the D's are going off of some internal polling?

The Rs are infusing tons of money into this race despite their acknowledgment of the flawed quality of his candidacy.

Binsfield, a sincere question. You have to admit as Republican there are some pathetic House members. I don't need to list them and you don't bother to compare Dems (none as radical and crazy).

Now you have some absolute idiotic numbskulls that could very well win Senate seats. Walker is an inarticulate compulsive liar, and he could become a U.S. Senator? It's not comical. Vance would be comical if the stakes weren't so high.

McCarthy has announced his intentions of retribution if they regain the House. Well, that is a flawed strategy. It is childish, without merit and will backfire severely. It will work with the Maggots but will wear out quickly with the general public. The intelligence/common sense gap between the Republicans and Democrats has exaggerated in recent years with radicalized Fox, its companion media partners and social media.

So, the question is, is the cost of political gain worth the risk. The control of the SCOTUS is dubious as its decisions have run against public opinion to the point there will be push back. It is radical, totally outside public positions on critical matters and belligerent to forces its will. The concept of equal branches of government to govern requires a Court to operate within limits specific to interpreting laws - not creating a need for them.

Another example is the ridiculous stolen 2020 election. Consider the absurd efforts to prove election was stolen that has amounted to nothing. Tens of millions dollars spent, probably more, people (Republicans) sent to prison for election fraud, and nothing. Conspiracy theories and tall tales. Laws passed to ensure voters will be left off the voter rolls. What's different from 2020 or 2016, or 2012 or 2008 or 2004?

The Orange Turd and his stupid bullshit.

1. Not a Republican.
2. It's not the SCOTUS function to run "with" public opinion.
3. Agree there are a lot of Crazies in the Republican Party
4. I think "voter suppression" arguments are extremely exaggerated.

That said...wouldn't break my heart to see split government for the foreseeable future...

Don't really want to see either party in control of the House/Senate/Executive

Case in point. Thank you. If you would watch the Ryan-Vance debate, and tell me that Vance is your guy, then there's no hope for you. If you would watch Beto-Abbott debate and tell me Abbott is your guy then there is no hope for you. Your thinking is gross.
Thinking? You are giving him too much credit.
