Time to make the run!

Seen everything I need to see. This team plays hard and has all the pieces to make a run. They've been run out of the gym by Gonzaga, Michigan and Illinois (three of the top 5 teams in America). Somehow Indiana vexed them, but whatever. I like this Iowa team against anyone except literally the best 3-4 teams in the country. Have confidence in them headed into the tourney. As a fan I really do love this team.

I agree I think our ceiling is elite 8 unless we get a crazy favorable match after that.. I would absolutely LOVE that kind of success.

I like to think Fran built this team for a run in the NCAA Tournament, not the Big Ten Tournament. We'll find out soon enough.

When its clear the other team is more athletic and also has a good big can Fran make the right adjustments??? I hope Iowa gets a good draw seeding wise with favorable matchups. and makes a historic run.

In my opinion, this loss today gave us an indication of the intensity we'll see in the Dance (minus all the mugging). We've accomplished a lot this year and I'm proud of how they've progressed, especially defensively. I'll say we make it to the Elite 8. Anything following that is gravy.

Other than Iowa State, the Big XII is pretty competitive. Lots of talent at Baylor, UT, OkSt, OU, and as always Kansas.
