The one who may actually make a strong run in the primary on your side who would be a disaster for the party. I'm going to exclude Donald Trump because he's already imploding, and I think he bails out when he actually has to disclose his net worth, or the publicity dies down for him.
The answer on the Democrat side is easy. Bernie Sanders, even though he isn't really a Democrat. Oh how I wish there was a bigger field. Sanders has a passionate base that will allow him to stick around and distract people.

Jeb. He scares me because he's part III of the McCain/Romney/Jeb losing trifecta if they go with him. He's much too moderate for my taste, he's the establishment's darling, and his last name is cancer, but he's got a whole lot of money (and the GOP head honchos) behind him, so he'll unfortunately be a player. Hopefully, Christie splits the moderate vote with him.

Let me clarify. I think Jeb is a candidate who can win. I know that he is distasteful to some of you, but, in looking at the field purely as to who could botch the process, who do you fear? Hillary is very beatable if she doesn't implode. What Republican either in the primary process, or in the general election could botch it for Republicans?

They're all scary in their own ways. I am not an fan of Cruz, Jeb, Huck, Santorum, Christie, just to name a few of the dozens of candidates.

I like Walker because he scares the crap out of the Dems. They would have to find a way to tear down his "common man" background without ruining the common man base they pander to.

I would also think that Jindal would be entertaining to have run. The Dems would figure out a way to show "micro-aggressions" towards his race.

All in all the most scary Republican in the whole race is... Hillary.

Jeb for the reasons I've already stated. I think he loses big in the general. He's no better than Romney.

Ok, if we are talking about candidates who could screw it up for the GOP then I'd list Jeb, Huck, Trump, Christie, Santorum. The rest of the field I think can win, have brains. Maybe that changes after I see them more and under a closer look. However, of the names I listed Jeb scares me the most because he's the only one in that group who has a chance of winning the nomination and he's a loser. The Bush name is cancer. The way to beat Hillary is to bring a fresh face to the scene, not a name that dredges up bad memories.

Jeb is not a gifted orator, he's not very charismatic, he doesn't get Republicans (outside of Establishment types) excited to vote for him.

If I had to pick a candidate who I thought could unite mods and conservatives, I'd say Rubio. He's the most gifted orator in the GOP field, smart, young, attractive, and Hispanic. He might not be my first choice but I think he has the best chance to win.

Walker has significant baggage with Wisconsin's budget woes and an economy trailing all of the surrounding states due to his irrational tax cuts, not to mention his convicted campaign associates.

If I'm a GOP, which I am not... to me the only guy that can win is Christie. He's a guy that will draw a lot of Democratic votes, a good share, potentially of Independants, and he would get Republican votes simply by not being a Dem.

To me... a strict conservative has no chance in the current American environment. This GOP primary season will be an absolute circus.

Santorum. And nobody is in second place.

For the Dems, you can see Sanders two ways. If he drives Hillary even further Left, that's not good for the party. On the other hand, if he makes her look more moderate in contrast, that's a plus for her in the general election.

I most closely identify as a libertarian who plans on voting republican this time unless Jeb is the nominee. I refuse to vote for another Clinton or a Bush.

I hate this drive Clinton to the left bs. At. The most he will drive her to campaign more to the left.

Walker scares me because he is potentially the most destructive to America's middle class. He would have most everyone be the working poor.
