I was a huge Tony Ramos fan from the moment he committed to wrestling at Iowa, and all throughout his college career. However, as with many of you, I was disappointed in the way that he handled himself last year after losing to Dan Dennis. It was good to watch this video and see that Tony seems to be in a "good place" - great to see him relaxed and smiling.
Also interesting to hear him say that he wants to have the feeling of coaching a national champion, and wonders if it will feel better than accomplishing that himself --- that's something Gable has always said, that he took greater satisfaction in coaching champions than achieving his personal success.
