Do Hawk fans root for the Buckeyes the rest of the way now with a shocking Nebraska upset over MSU? I think if the Hawks have any chance at the 4 team playoff it will have to be undefeated against undefeated in the B1G championship. Hawks won't get enough credit if we beat a 1 loss B1G team in the championship.

Worst part about it is Ohio State has a tough, tough rest of the way. (@ Illinois, MSU, @ Michigan) None of those are a walk in the park for the way the Buckeyes have been playing this year.

Yeah I do. Probably need to beat an undefeated OSU team to get to the final 4. If we lose to an undefeated OSU, then we'll get the Rose over MSU.

Until we lose, I'll cheer for OSU

An Iowa loss to an undefeated OSU team is better than a loss to a one-loss MSU team that lost to Nebraska.

Undefeated vs Undefeated (a likely top 4 match-up) is what I want.

It depends on what quarterback is playing. They will be fine for the rest of the season.

Hawks vs. Rudock's Wolverines in B1G Title Game is gonna happen cause Michigan will beat tOSU and get the nod. Besides, the storyline will be even better than two undefeated teams and Iowa won't be denied at 13-0.

IF they would get to the B1G champ game unbeaten, then beating a previously unbeaten tosu team gets them into the playoffs.
Therefore, as long as Iowa remains unbeaten, I will keep my lunch down just enough to not want to see tosu lose.

I think our best chance to win the Big Ten is to face Michigan.
I think our best chance for making the playoff is to beat an undefeated O$u.
I think the simple fact that we are even having this conversation is incredible.

I respectfully disagree with your first point. I want no part of Harbaugh and Michigan if they beat Ohio State. And tOSU is due for a loss soon.

MSU goes if they beat OSU (and win out otherwise). Michigan goes if they beat OSU and OSU beats MSU. And OSU goes if they win out. Is that right?

I still say an undefeated Big 10 team gets into the playoffs no matter what.
I agree, but it would remove all doubt if OSU were unbeaten coming into the championship game.

What we don't want is to get blown out in the championship game, as that would probably cost us in the bowl selection process. And no, I don't think Ohio St is capable of blowing us out, and we might have a pretty good chance of beating them.

Well, I agree that OSU is due for a loss. Last season, as the year progressed, one got the sense that they were riding a growing tidal wave of momentum, and they were clearly the best team at the end of the year (obviously since they won it all). This year, they have not been able to sustain that kind of momentum from game to game, and seem beatable. The Bucks are going to have a game or two still where they make a bunch of mistakes. Let's hope, for our sake, that's in the CCG against us.

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that I want to see 12-0 Iowa vs. 12-0 Ohio State in the Big Ten CCG. If Iowa loses - disappointing, but pretty much expected, and essentially guaranteed the Rose Bowl. Win, and at least in my mind, 30+ years of Buckeye frustration instantly vanishes.

Ohio State is the only big ten team, other than Rutgers, we haven't beat in the last 5 years. If you take out Penn State it's 3 years.

I have changed my mind and believe Iowa will be in the final four with an undefeated record with a win over a undefeated team in the championship or a one loss. Honestly, as someone already said, if you go undefeated in the B1G and win the championship, you can't realistically be left out. Need to start getting respect, but maybe it is okay that they don't right now. Give us a little more to play for. Loving this season.

I like this.

I'll say it again. It does not matter who we would play of what their record is. If we are undefeated and win the Big Ten championship, we are in the top four. Absolutely, without a doubt. If we lose we likely will never make it barring a whole lot of wierd stuff happening. Didn't matter where we lose. A loss is almost a certain death blow.
