A couple questions I have about this new world of college athletics.
So high school athlete gets contacted by a college to come play a sport. Is the prospects 1st question how much are you going to pay me? Hypothetically he is told $400k a year. He waits for all his offers and agrees with one. When does he receive this money and how? What is expected of him for this$$? I haven’t seen any of these athletes doing any car dealerships adds? Pizza commercials? Autograph shows? Is this money start at beginning of the season and stop at the end of the season?
Transfer portal announcement change all of this? Does transfer portal announcement shut off the athletes access to teams benefits, meals, trainers, facilities?
I can see why a lot of coaches quit. Too much BS to keep track of and the purity of the game has been ruined.
