Excellent read! LIke you I'm a fan of these two fellas. Had it not been for Trent slipping during his match with Brooks in last year's final, I think Hidlay wins that match. Come NCAAs I'm rooting like hell for Iowa wrestlers and everyone who wrestles a PSU wrestler or Gable Steveson. Cassar beating Steveson in the 2019 semi-finals was one of my favorite non-Hawks wrestling moments.

BTW, I like Trent's quote, "You aren't owed anything in this life. If you want to win, do the hard things and push yourself to new limits." Reminds me of the quote from the movie, Over the Top, "The world meets nobody halfway. When you want something, you gotta take it.""
