Trev Alberts, Nebraska AD, made honest remarks last night.
When asked about escalating coaches salaries that have happened the past two weeks with contract deals for Tucker, Franklin, Riley, and Kelly, he said:
"The reality is we're going to make a difficult decision. It might be easy for some and more difficult for others, but we're either going to be in the entertainment business or tied to the academic mission. I don't know that those are necessarily congruent all the time. It's a real challenge that we're facing."
What are your thoughts? What approach will Iowa take? I think many schools are now needing to ponder but I also think the train left the station on this during the past 5+ years relating to football at least.
