Trump admin texted war plans

Remember when Hegseth was nominated - a bunch of us said he would be incompetent and this would lead to issues down the road. I was assured, repeatedly, by the usual suspects that this is exactly the type of person we want leading the Pentagon.

Well here we are - clown show is being far too kind.

Looking on the bright side for all the morons out there - this goes to show the American dream is alive and well. Where else would a dumbass addict womanizing bigot be able to become one of the most powerful men? Only in America.
To be fair, they included lots of cool emojis like flags and fire!

There better be hearings and heads rolling in the next week.
Do you really think Breadbags will make an issue of this?
I posted when he was confirmed that he’d get people killed and it just didn’t matter because she was petrified of a primary challenger. In her mind dead Americans are an acceptable loss over her losing her job.

Again, thank you so much to all of you who couldn't bring yourself to vote for the black woman who laughs and brought this KNOWN AHEAD OF TIME shit for brains administration onto the rest of the country. This is example 5000, at least, of why Trump should be impeached unanimously and all of his cabinet members, except perhaps Rubio, removed immediately.
In some ways Rubio is the worst because he is backing trump on russia, and he hates communism and russia

Did you read that article?

Like actually read it before you pissed yourself?
In case you do come back to the thread... From the article. Go ahead and justify this for us all. Be better.

All of these lawyers said that a U.S. official should not establish a Signal thread in the first place. Information about an active operation would presumably fit the law’s definition of “national defense” information. The Signal app is not approved by the government for sharing classified information. The government has its own systems for that purpose. If officials want to discuss military activity, they should go into a specially designed space known as a sensitive compartmented information facility, or SCIF—most Cabinet-level national-security officials have one installed in their home—or communicate only on approved government equipment, the lawyers said. Normally, cellphones are not permitted inside a SCIF, which suggests that as these officials were sharing information about an active military operation, they could have been moving around in public. Had they lost their phones, or had they been stolen, the potential risk to national security would have been severe.

He was lurking a 1/2 hour or 45 minutes ago.

@torbee It is ridiculous to me that these reporters can’t anticipate Trump’s BS at this point and have a decent follow up question OR they don’t follow up on another’s question. “Earlier you said The Atlantic was a terrible magazine. If it’s so terrible why would your defense secretary have a reporter from there in a group chat?” Or “Earlier you said that you didn’t know anything about this. Does it bother you that your cabinet members are making decisions on military strategy without your permission, and sharing it with reporters instead?”

Do your jobs!!!

Correct me if I’m wrong Torbs!

You are right, but there is also an unspoken rule that you let the next reporter follow up after your question is answered. Now, if reporters get along well, you can often have the second one follow up to nail down an answer. But remember, this administration has given access to tons of “friendly” to them media, so that is unlikely to happen.
