Kinda my point. There is a crime committed. Probably felony charges that get reduced to misdemeanors for you or I in a normal courtroom setting. Not worth the time for a former president. Everyone will just glance over him banging 3 random women and having an illegitimate child. Really Christian Republican of him.
We're not getting the full story on everything the prosecutor has.
This isn't some rookie doing his first prosecution.
Be patient, the full story hasn't been told and it's only the beginning and should embolden other cases to be brought forward.

Michael Cohen did real time in jail over these same things. No Trump supporters said a thing about it being a minor charge then. Either Trump is above the law or not.

For the bajillionth time, this will be the FIRST indictments handed down. Grand juries are meeting in D.C. and Georgia considering much more serious crimes with much more serious punishments.

This is kinda my thought too. That panel was either a trumper or underwhelmed they didn’t get the big surprise. Grand jury and DA wouldn’t go through without hard evidence. I just hope the public keeps and open mind and chills out. Oh congress people too

This is how John Edwards got out of his hush money case. Edwards claimed payment was to protect his family and not the election. For this to work for Trump, Trump would first have to admit to the affairs and the payments and then argue against Cohen's testimony.
Well, it isn’t like people haven’t gone after him. Bragg won a case against Trump Org already. Letitia James has a case scheduled for October. E. Jean Carroll has a case that starts in less than a month, in which Trump will be compelled to testify. The Fulton County DA has a grand jury seated that has until May, maybe these charges take some pressure off of her? And, the DoJ team really looks to be gathering a lot of court wins in acquiring testimony.

Add a few MIPs from ages 18-20 and I’ve got about five misdemeanors on my record and two nights in the clink.
