You never learn. First, learn what happened when Biden tried to lower gas prices, trying to stop price gouging by oil companies, or asked for a tax holiday to help with gas prices. I still remember the Republican congresswoman asking what they were going to attempt to cap next, "food?".

The media coverage has really been annoying on this. The indictment was by all accounts exactly what was expected. They seem so deflated there was no big bombshell. And not one outlet will discuss the confirmation of trumps extra marital affairs and another don jr walking among us.
It is because a lot of people who pound their chest about those things, "look at how moral I am", are not doing those things at all and are just like Trump. They have affairs, they "sin" (whatever that is), and they are in general not good human beings.
Maybe you are new to this earth but most people are not "good" people in the sense that they pretend to be. It doesn't mean they are complete degenerates (like us on HROT) but it does mean they are far from perfect even through they pretend they are. FFS just look at the perfect lives of everyone on social media, it is all made up "look at me" stuff.
They like Trump bc he "owns the libs" (whatever that means) and they look the other way on all the other stuff bc they too want to fu@k the neighbors wife or already are. Or they are a guy that hates gays while sucking D on the weekend. Or they hate the trans but dress up in ladies undies on the weekend...people are weird AF.
