This presser is a damn disaster.
What real leader would be saying this crap at this time?
Assigning blame less than 24 hours after the crash.
I hope he has damn solid information given his implications. Real leader could give as all available information he has or a bad leader could blame something not actually at fault.
It may be he does have this information right now and he is being transparent about it. They certainly have all the information we need about the controller and pilot. Experience, background, psychological profile testing scores, etc
If he knows that the controller or pilot had red flags, was under qualified, standards lowered to allow either of them to work, or had failed some of his standards but was working anyway that is critical.
BUT, I agree, if the implications were made and this is on no basis at all, thats shameful.
Keep in mind this. Often in things of this nature the President is briefed and his staff have talked to the principles. The briefing will have key details and information that will put certain aspects in front in regard to fault. Normally, the early pressers have very little information and they talk a lot about 'pending the investigation' etc. But frequently this is a delaying tactic and sometimes the probable cause is strongly suspected even early. Perhaps this President is being transparent for once and giving us the information he knows. IF however, he is jumping to conclusions on his own personal biases then that is quite irresponsible I agree. Time will tell which is correct.
I think we should all wait to see what comes from this as it gets investigated and judge from there.
Ill admit, his comments made me uncomfortable for sure and all I could think of was, I hope you have very solid information given your implications.
Many on here will say, well Trump is such a terrible person, of course hes 'Trump doing Trump' and blaming folks that don't deserve it based on his history. We will see.
The implication I took from this was that the controller or pilot had red flags in his/her qualifications or profile and shouldn't have been in the job. For his sake I hope that evidence exists.
