The truth about Trump doesn't matter. The truth is he's a rapist and a convicted felon. But the folks that voted for him think that's all made up nonsense because Trump is a victim. When you're dealing with people that don't believe reality, it makes it very difficult to formulate a message to them. We're living in an age where the truth doesn't matter.
Listen to her words, "the enemy within", that's not calling the American people names, that's implying (by trump) there's a problem within government which many people feel is a problem. She actually helped trump with that statement. trump has focused on this imaginary enemy within the government and then at times relates the democrats to that enemy. Harris needed to come out and say there is an enemy and she's going to fight to get rid of the enemy. Democrats need to stop trying to be the nice guy and start the attack.

And those topics matter to the people so the democrats have a decision to make. The Democrats spend so much time trying to not offend people (and keep their far left) they don't always do the right thing or say the right thing. Democrats need to come out and say it's wrong to have men in women's sports, and that's just one topic.
I'm in IT and I see companies who refuse to change their products because they're scared their existing customer base won't like the changes. So they end up not making the changes for the future, and then later wonder why they're not getting new customers and worse they start losing the customer base they were trying to keep. The Democrats need to actually apply DEI and do a competitive analysis along with user studies to find out what the people want and then try to make a better product. Instead the democrats think they're doing DEI but instead they're really just doing tokenism.
