Trump lied. Is all in for Project 2025.

Is that a no?

So is “lying” now a problem? Cause it hasn’t been previously.

It's always been some version of a problem for me. Go look back at my posting history when she was pushed forward. I called it out.

Can you point to where you have been consistent in caring about lying or sinning? Cause when it comes to Trump or this thread, it isn't apparent.

And with Trump, you don't need to use quotes. It's a lie. Alternate facts aren't a thing besides a lie.

I believe Trump indeed hasn't a clue what P2025 has in it.

But I DO believe the money behind P2025 also was a lot of the money behind Trump's entire 4 year crusade to claw back into the White House.

For Trump, letting the P2025 gang (along with Musk of course) having a free hand is The Cost Of Doing Business.

I seriously doubt he gives any shits about what they're trying to do at all. All he cares about is personal wealth, spiking the football, and getting revenge on everything and everybody he can for the prior 4 years.

He has a clue. He spoke about it pre-election. Supported large parts of it. Said out loud he supported some of what is contained multiple times for anyone paying attention. Now executing as much of it as possible after a mandate by the American people.

Yeah, yeah, I get the landslide argument, but perhaps we should redefine that given the new demographics and electoral map. In the modern era his win was fairly significant, and he has remained popular. I get you don't like it. I get you have different opinions. I get you wish your opinion matched present facts, but that is not how reality works.

Factually inaccurate. I supported large portions of Project 2025 pre-election, and still do. I don't really listen to what politicians say while campaigning, but I have located numerous times pre-election where Trump indicated he thought portions of Project 2025 were a good idea.

At best he distanced himself for political reasons. Not really an unusual occurrence limited to one political party, and not something I get upset over since I'm actually a critical and independent thinker.

Let me grant you one small victory. Has Trump lied while campaigning? I'm positive he has, just as have every political candidate in my lifetime.

Now the more important question is does any of this impact me given my decision making process? No. You should ask yourself this same question becuase it appears the answer is different.
Then never speak another word about a president bypassing Congress through EOs. Not. One. Word.

He started his second term under water in approval polls. So popular.

Well I've been saying for years that all politicians lie and are crooks. But here you go. Let me know if you need more quotes.

Well that’s not true at all. I’d like trump to be put in the slammer for the rest of his life and the Biden family be put in the same prison. Along with all the other crooks in politics.

Has anyone realized yet that politicians of both parties are just a bunch of crooks.
Why is anyone defending the actions of any of the people being discussed in this thread.

I mentioned this in the trump verdict thread. Only I want the trump and Biden families. Not just two of the crooks.

You really are an idiot aren’t you. You hate MAGA’s and non maga that aren’t a part of your cult. Plenty of politicians in BOTh parties are crooks yet you only see the Republican ones.
It’s pathetic how stupid people are.

I don’t defend any politician. They’re all crooks. Only thing is that my beliefs align more with the republicans.

I, for one, am shocked that anyone posts something like this making it sound like he is the only president that has ever lied.
I’d bet that every single president before him lied multiple times before, during and after their presidency.
Well, sure. Robert Wadlow was 8’11. Danny Devito is 4’10.

But, hey, both have height, so let’s call it a wash.

And yet here you are in your first post defending him via willful ignorance.

Well if he didn’t know anything about it, I guess it’s a good thing he hired the people that wrote it and didn’t try to do it himself.

When first asked about Project 2025 during his 2024 presidential campaign, former President Donald Trump distanced himself from the initiative. On July 5, 2024, he stated on Truth Social: "I know nothing about Project 2025. I have no idea who is behind it. I disagree with some of the things they're saying and some of the things they're saying are absolutely ridiculous and abysmal. Anything they do, I wish them luck, but I have nothing to do with them."

You tried saying a doctor giving a general bill of health for a president was the same as the media being in lockstep to hide the failings of a President as we got daily glimpses of his deterioration.

Yet here I showed you quotes of how I think he’s a crook just like all politicians yet you still chose to ignore those facts.
enjoy life in your bubble. I’m sure it’s tons of fun.

And yet you are still defending him on something so simple and easy to prove. Who actually is creating a bubble here? But, good job with gifs....

You’re intellectually dishonest.
Rich coming from you.

and then he later said some of the ideas were good ideas. Keep up.

Rape boy proves once again why nobody should trust him.

Exactly, you cant trust him so he will be disrupting services that many of his voters need, not want, but need. Will some of his voters get mad and turn against him. Many of his voters were Independants who maybe voted Dem many times

At this point the question for me isn't about Trump lying, that's as consistent as the sun, but why would GOP voters be continuing to lie to their neighbors when they are most definitely not in on the grift?
I know this was mostly rhetorical, but I’ll answer anyway… Because to do otherwise would require admitting (tacitly at least) that they’d been suckered by the conman. That’s tough for anyone to do.

It's particularly amusing seeing a Trumper talk about how reality works. You seem slightly less stupid than most Trumpers, can you explain the reality of the 2020 stolen election?

Pretty well established he isn't a reader. But Im sure someone has repeatedly given him the highlights.
That makes me wonder if there’s a whole team in the Trump administration whose sole responsibility is converting communications, policy memos, briefings, etc. to storybook/picturebook format so that he will actually look at it.

The Trump hate just gets more amusing with each and every post from you delusional leftists, keep entertaining us. Americans love them some Trump right now.

Not even close. Go back and read my original post. Read it closely and lit loud if it helps.
So you believed Trump when he said:

"I know nothing about Project 2025. I have no idea who is behind it. I disagree with some of the things they're saying and some of the things they're saying are absolutely ridiculous and abysmal. Anything they do, I wish them luck, but I have nothing to do with them."

Gullible dupe is being kind.

Why would you think I listen to, or believe politicians? Why would anyone do that?
