This is like asking Ronnie Harmon to carry your giant sack of eggs.

Unless you are severely vitamin deficient due to some medical condition, or you eat like a moron, you don't need vitamins. Most of them get washed out with your piss anyway. You are literally pissing your money away.

I don't necessarily have a problem with people taking vitamins. I do have a problem with an M.D. profiting from them and exaggerating their benefits.

To be fair, I can't stand attorneys that advertise and do the same

He now Sparky, let’s not get carried away with lumping in officers of the Court with … Dr. Oz.

In my experience CMS really drives how healthcare is delivered, and changes coming from them can really alter everything about what a patient and provider experience in the healthcare setting. I smell a shitstorm brewing.

I can't wait to find out who he is going to appoint to chief of raking the National Parks
No more National Parks...gonna be used for oil drilling.

The only way to prevent this is if someone promised to put Trump on Mt Rushmore.

When people ask me about them, my line is "you can if you want really expensive pee".

That's already been happening. Turns out educated young people don't want to live in rural areas with nothing to do, even fewer resources, and a patient pool out of Deliverance.
Plus, in any profession you really only have a few good chances to move. Lots of young couples are going to choose to move to areas with optimal resources, recreation, good schools for their kids, and less overreach of private lives. Mrs. Lucas believes UIHC will be able to attract medical students and residents, but, then we will lose a lot of them when they make the decision where to join a practice.

Their ObGyn department will not.
Already, in TX, ObGyn residents need to travel to New Mexico to get training on complicated pregnancies and abortions. They get "a few weeks" exposure to those procedures, vs having a year or more in a regular rotation - meaning they never develop much competency.

Residents who want training will choose medical schools in states where they can get that training during their full rotations. It will significantly impact UIHC and other schools.

Already, there is one documented case in Texas where a woman was denied abortion care when she was miscarrying. They denied care while she was medically stable, then she started bleeding out, and no one in the facility was trained to perform a D&C. So, they ended up performing a hysterectomy to save her life. Her ability to try to have another child was taken from her, because of insane, draconian laws that prevented immediate care for her when complications first started.

Expect that to play out more and more as ObGyns leave states they cannot provide care, and the remaining doctors are incapable of providing care when someone "goes critical" after care delays.
