I dont think congress specifically authorized a DEI ballet in Ireland. Where spending discretion has been permitted to be used to promote things not in alignment with the priorities of the President it can be halted imo.

There are those who say the amendment could and should be counted as having been ratified. Biden is siding with that view. I personally disagree, but it's not a demented argument.
From the perspective of those who insist it was, in fact, ratified, just not published as ratified, the ERA is the 28th amendment. So Biden's reference is not mockworthy.

Biden didn't run in 2016. Hillary did. When Biden ran in 2020, Obama endorsed him. Though, that in and of itself is apples to oranges compared to current day.
Whether Obama encouraged him or not is completely irrelevant.

Taking your premise at face value, Trump is doing exactly what Obama did in 2016, and is also following Reagan’s 1988 precedent.
So I have to ask again. Trump has not endorsed a guy who presently is not running, so what’s your point in the OP?
