I was thinking today that if Trump and Fox News had been around during the Nuremberg Trials that a lot of the good Nazis would have gotten off.
Good reason to let someone keep their Trident, so you can introduce them as a SEAL when they campaign for you.

I am not sure this about playing to his voters. I think this is about Trump wanting to do something, and pushing back when he's told no, and I think he knows he ducked out of the draft and somewhere in his pea sized brain he wants to pretend to be a tough guy.
So, what happens when these scumbags get on stage in full uniform and then the military decides to bust em down in rank?

that’s fake news brah. The President of the US would never do that.
Considering those guys, plus at least one other who has yet to stand trial, should all be in jail, the booted out of the military with a dishonorable discharge, it makes sense he wants them to campaign for them.
I get family members supporting these guys, I really do. I don't get anyone else supporting them. I mean, member of their platoons/teams turned them in, testified against them, took actions to try to stop them because they were doing crap they shouldn't.
Anyone who thinks what those jackholes did was honorable, ethical or moral needs to never say anything regarding the military ever again, nor should they ever claim to "Support the Troops". They don't, they support criminals and they spit on the hundreds of thousands of troops who deployed, saw combat and didn't commit war crimes.

Thats the part that I would think/hope pisses the rank and file in the military off.
Everything was peer based. The removal of rank and his trident was based on hearings held by peers. Trump told every single person in the military that HE and only HE will decide rank and punishment. That can't sit well with them.

Well, that's your choice. I ignore all his many faces for a reason. Still, I can predict his reply if you like - something about "those people all want to kill us, women and children too. They were probably planting IEDs when he took them out and saved Americans lives! Go Joe!!"
