Hmmm where did that inflation stem from? A poorly handled pandemic? Asking OPEC to reduce output as a favor? Both actually.20% increase in inflation will help to increase tax receipts, of course you already knew that.
consistently better, great grammer
Will these numbers get revised down just like Bidens negative 800k+ jobs report? Hard to trust any numbers that came from that corrupt administration.Oh so tax revenue receipts grew consistently better every year during Biden’s term than Trump’s?
Whodathunk? Every MAGAt claims the opposite ITT. They can’t stand the truth.
You are such an idiot, it is amazing. GFY you POS. The surge in revenues is a result of rising inflation, CBO said, as well as the ongoing recovery from the coronavirus pandemic.Hmmm where did that inflation stem from? A poorly handled pandemic? Don’t expect a greedy, narcissistic psychopath to ever have your best interests in mind. Cmon Mikey, you don’t have to think and reason like a child just because your name is childish.
Please know I am in favor of spending cuts. I have real issues with how they are doing the cuts - and I’m not convinced Trump will actually cut spending, but we must make cuts one way or the other.
And you are right, it’s been a long time since a President cut the budget. If I’m not mistaken Clinton was the last one to do it.
I love the "how do we pay for that?" response.
The federal government is too big and it costs too much! Dozens if not hundreds of federal agencies, bureaus, commissions, offices, boards, etc. wouldn't be missed if they were gone. That's how you pay for it.
Fat Trad is here to say that he’s giving up his job!I love the "how do we pay for that?" response.

Duh. Eliminated USAID and all other foreign aid of course. I mean, that's 40-50% of federal spending right there.
Did you even live through Covid? The greatest transfer of wealth to the already ultra rich in history. It will have the same result as every Republican plan. If it were a Pizza, the top%5 will get 99/100ths of the pizza, and the bottom %95 of people will get 1/100th of the pizza. Trumpers will think they are getting “help” with that tiny slice. Meanwhile, the very wealthy will line their pockets and our debt will absolutely explode.
Didn’t economists also say that inflation was the result of supply chain issues post pandemic? I mean if you’re going to tell a story of mitigating factors you should use them all. If not, it Biden’s actions that led to increasing tax revenues. Increasing gdp. Increasing job numbers. Increasing take home pay.You are such an idiot, it is amazing. GFY you POS. The surge in revenues is a result of rising inflation, CBO said, as well as the ongoing recovery from the coronavirus pandemic.
I am mean wow.
Did you contact the local news networks here to let them know that everyone in Waukee and West Des Moines are racists as you have claimed prio
You mad bruh? Get a life creeper, keep defending racist kids and the parents that allow it. Appears you fit right in. Y’all have license once again to behave like racists, endorsed by your POS POTUS, the agent who brought you inflation the first time will deliver it once again but much, much worse this time around. You are such an idiot, it is amazing. GFY you POS. The surge in revenues is a result of rising inflation, CBO said, as well as the ongoing recovery from the coronavirus pandemic.

Dumb to think that since Trump’s first term added more debt to that total than any other presidential term in history, and by a lot.of course the debt will increase, not as much as it did under Biden likely though
Even after that revised reduction the jobs growth was still 2.1 million over the trailing 12 months 2023-2024. Not too shabby. Will these numbers get revised down just like Bidens negative 800k+ jobs report? Hard to trust any numbers that came from that corrupt administration.
You loser liberals and your statistics and logical thinking! Don't you know Trump and MAGA have made all that irrelevant? We make our own reality! All foreign aid is about 1% of the budget. You’re wildly misinformed.
LOL's. The downward revisions didn't alter the overall picture at all. JFC you idiots. Will these numbers get revised down just like Bidens negative 800k+ jobs report? Hard to trust any numbers that came from that corrupt administration.
Tariff's on countries who have been ripping us off is one way.
You assume that he even graduated high school?Tornado hawk, did you ever take macroeconomic theory? Honest question, what’s the highest level of education you’ve completed in economics?
Other countries don’t pay the tariff. It’s what’s referred to as a pass through. The consumer pays the tariffs and it will not touch the deficit.
This would have been covered in basics of econ, not even an advanced elective so I am curious why this line of thinking is being parroted given its blatantly mendacious.
You assume that he even graduated high school?
Obviously not enough as Trump added eight trillion dollars to the national debt in four years.Government revenues rose significantly during Trump's first term...
The no taxes on tips thing seems very populist. I can see why it is appealing in the surface but I don't think it is a good idea. From a pure fairness perspective I'm not why tips shouldn't be taxed vs income from other types of work. From a corruption perspective I imagine this has the potential to open up all sorts of grift. People changing their pay structures to be more tip based. Finally many people complain about out of control tip culture what do you think will happen to tip culture when you incentivize it?
If anything I would like to see a simpler tax code, continuing to add more categories of income just makes taxes more complicated.
In some cases yes. Just because tariffs are put in place doesn't mean they will stay in place and it doesn't mean on ALL items we buy...you do realise this don't you?You do realize that American consumers pay those tariffs, and they lead to higher prices and much inflation, don't you?
LOL!! I have a 4 year degree in business. Now how about you? You do understand the outcome of tariffs don't you? I mean, You do know that if there is a trade imbalance the idea of them is to force the other side to capitulate. You know, like Canada and Mexico have started to do.Tornado hawk, did you ever take macroeconomic theory? Honest question, what’s the highest level of education you’ve completed in economics?

Now, I am sure that you were probably also on board with the inflation explosion act that Biden and his admin put in place during their term. And, I am sure were you also on board with parroting the tripe that inflation was transitory.![]()
Can you link to this? I had not seen that. Now, I have always said that Trump gets his chance. Obviously if all his moves fail to inprove the economy...then he and his troup will be voted out.Trump just said grocery prices are because of trade deficits yesterday.
Clinton really wasn’t a terrible human being..he was a great President though…the current President is both, however.Clinton is a TERRIBLE human being, but was a GREAT President!!!!!
You lost all credibility when you said Clinton wasn't a terrible human being. LOL!!Clinton really wasn’t a terrible human being..he was a great President though…the current President is both, however.
Well, he wasn’t when compared to Trump. And Bill, other than his woman weakness, was a pretty good guy. Now tell me Trump doesn’t have “woman issues”…You lost all credibility when you said Clinton wasn't a terrible human being. LOL!!
Giving Obama credit for anything is quite the stretch....his open threat to nationalize the banking system on March 13, 2009 made the bottom of the stock market on that date...he single handedly set back race relations by decades with his being on the wrong side of virtually every race related controversy....That was mostly because Obana had successfully “jump started” the economy following the crash of ‘08 - certainly not from anything Trump did for the economy…which was his tax cut but that was 2 years or so into his term…The economy numbers jump was mostly due to Obama economic/fiscal policies he started after he took office in ‘09…. Remember there was pressure on him to allow the Feds to bump interest rates in about ‘14 but he refused (hoping to get a Dem elected after him in ‘16).
Joel just said Trump was a great president....WOW!!You lost all credibility when you said Clinton wasn't a terrible human being. LOL!!

It is the GOP fiscal policy since about 1980.Decreasing revenue and increasing spending is never a good formula.
Yes. And now that they have a "businessman" running things, it's even worse. It is the GOP fiscal policy since about 1980.
A businessman famous for bankrupting multiple business and being saved by a TV show no less. God bless America.Yes. And now that they have a "businessman" running things, it's even worse.
You do realize the consumers pay this? It's still a tax on buying goods. Let's see the plan of cuts and the offsets that meet budget requirements.Tariff's on countries who have been ripping us off is one way.
Please, there is more crap out there about Clinton then anyone wants to know. You liked him as a person? Good for you.Well, he wasn’t when compared to Trump. And Bill, other than his woman weakness, was a pretty good guy. Now tell me Trump doesn’t have “woman issues”…
