Texas Tech might have a $10 million payroll. It's kind of amazing that Drake was able to keep it close for most of their game.
It would be nice for Iowa to be able to stay in a game for a change in the Round of 32. Making run beyond Sweet16 takes some real high level talent and athleticism. We can hope.
NIL makes it harder for us to reach the sweet 16. Just like the NIL and playoff has made it much harder for Iowa to win a NC in football. (we had our chance in 2002 and 2009.)
Was a great game, played by the two non-Big 10, teams that I ended up watching a lot of this season, simply because they were so much fun to watch. So efficient and well rounded on O, while still playing good, hard nosed D.
TT really blew it missing the two 1 and 1’s, but hats off to the Gators for doing it early enough they had time to catch them…didn’t wait until under a minute to employ this tactic.

Agreed, but I think we still could make a run in the NCAA Dance….cindrella’s won’t last long in the football playoffs. Although, Arizona State came close…😉
