TV ads tell me 3 reasons to vote Trump…

Kamala is for “they and them” while Trump is for me.

Kamala lets rapists and murderers roam the streets (sans Trump as it relates to the former because that is different).

Trump serves up McDonald’s when the restaurant is closed and pumps his fist in the air when bleeding from the ear.

That’s all the TV ads have for me so far. Very rich and compelling. Could any helpful members of the Beacon/MAGA idiot brigade add to what the TV ads are missing? Thanks.

My only answer is everyone has a personal reason for what they choose to do on a daily basis. I have no control over it, you have no control over it.

Calling nearly 50% of the US population idiots, deplorables, nazis, socialists, communists or whatever is not a great way to convince people to vote in a different way. Just gets them to dig in deeper.

Putting people on the defensive is typically not a successful change agent. Problem is both sides are guilty of it from the highest office to the smallest positions in desolate counties across the nation.

I've seen the "they / them" commercial and it's pretty awful. There are clearly real discussions to be had about transgender rights; but the MAGA ads simply and aggressively concentrate on hatred.

Hey, that’s a start. I can work with that. Trump and Biden both artificially stimulated demand. All out of good intentions, but with obvious inflationary outcomes.

Let’s look at when consumers received that money and what they did with it. Take the protypical middle class family - dual income and two kids. They received the following:

• Trump starting in April 2020: $3,400
• Trump starting in December 2020: $2,400
• Biden starting in March 2021: $5,600

Trump provided $5,800 in stimulus and Biden $5,600. In total both presidents provided this type of family with $11,400. It stands to reason that this absolutely supercharged demand. And yet it is somehow all Biden’s fault? That is laughable. It is both their faults. Some of it was absolutely necessary, it is the magnitude that was the problem.

Trump is not good for the economy. He is not good for business. He is not good for the American worker.

But... Both Rs and Ds agreed to the checks going out for the first round.

I don't recall what the voting was on the second Trump stimulus and the the Biden one. But there was absolutely NO REASON for the March 2021 check to go out to ALL Americans. Many people like myself didn't need it. But not going to send it back, when I'm going to pay for it in taxes and pay tenfold in inflation due to this flood of new money.

Long story short, the Covid checks being sent got more and more unnecessary. Biden's was the last and most unnecessary, so it's going to get pointed to.

I get the idea behind giving them to people like me - wife and I tried to spend them at small local businesses that were struggling to survive. But I'd have to assume that very little of that money made it to the targets.

I agree with you the stimulus was short sighted. I remember specifically pointing that out at the time. And I also understand why Biden’s gets pointed out.

The point stands that the rate of inflation is a function of both of them, not one. We would have had significant inflation if it was just Trump and significant inflation if it was just Biden. The two together resulted in a massive issue. Both parties went along with this, both parties are culpable.

Only one party is attempting to rewrite history however.

Some TV political ads are down right funny. My local stations are from Nebraska and the ads for the local races had a friend and I rolling last week.

I saw an attack ad against Bohannon and was thinking, man I really need to get out and vote for her!

Yep, all 3 checks went into my saving account, and probably still there. First time i ever received treasury checks signed by a president , Crazy Filthy Donald Thump.
