Lon Kruger and Bill Self both coached at Illinois but have
since moved on to better things. Kruger got his #2 Oklahoma
team into the Final Four by defeating #1 Seed Oregon tonight.
Bill Self and his #1 Seed Kansas lost by 5 points to #2 Seed
Villanova this evening.

Bottom Line: There is life after coaching at Illinois.

Both Lon Kruger and Bill Self were successful coaches
at Illinois and went on to greener pastures. Mr. Groce
has yet to have success at Illinois. Basically, he is on
the hot seat until he proves himself.

The point of this thread is to show that there is life for
coaches after they leave the University of Illinois.
Bill Self and Lon Kruger are outstanding examples of
coaches who left the Fighting Illini and went on to better
things.

So Fran is okay as well, because Lute was successful at Arizona correct?
