Frost will face challenges at Nebraska ... He won't be in the hot bed of Florida for recruits ... and admission standards will be more challenging that what he faced in Florida ... And factor in that for at least 10 of your 12 weeks you will be facing a quality opponent ... As Fleck is experiencing, it's not easy to win week in and week out when players get hurt, tired, and you're going against top coaches week in and week out ... I think Frost is a good hire but I also think Nebby fans are being too quick to anoint him as a Saint. But that's the world we live in: immediate gratification and classifying people as heroes at the drop of a hat.

I think Frost is a good hire. But I don't believe for a second... that if his name was anything other than "Frost".. that Nebraska fans would be losing their minds like they are now. No way.

Frost is a good coach but he also symbolizes '97 (glory years) for husker land. Living in Omaha I'm already sick of the "its going to he frosty this winter". So damn stupid

They went 12-1 in 2013. None of those players are on the current roster.

What was the point then? That they've been good before? Doesn't take away from the fact that he completely turned the team around.

No one that played in 2013 was on their roster this year, so it was a total makeover.

They won 9 games the next year. They have had good teams in the past and they get good talent being in Florida. He proved that he is about as good as O'Leary at UCF. There are a lot of coaches who do well at that level and then fail once they get to a Power 5 school. he also got away with having a horrible defense.
