Moody going toe to toe with STeiert. But gave up a TD into a 4 NF turk to end the 2nd. Down 11-5 to start 3rd. Steiert starts down and gets and escape. immediate TD by moody 12-7.
Moody tosses Steiert to hsi back but rolls through! No TD Awarded damn that was slick
Moody loses 8-13 to Steiert. Dang Moody is fun to watch, that TD and NF at the end of the 2nd killed him. Other than that he outwrestled Steiert the whole match. GREAT match by Moody. Terry is fired up.
Meyer up on Mat 5, Keegan Shaw in the hole on Mat 5. Prolly will overlap with Warner and Wilson in their semi matches, though.....
Jimenez up next on mat 2 - ought to be very fresh and rested

Warner worked hard and got the TD with 5 seconds to go in the 1st. Should be Up 2-0 going to the 2nd.
Wow, Woodley takes Warner down at the buzzer to win 5-4. looked like Warner got separation at the end for the Escape but they dont give it to him...
That is why Warner needs a redshirt.
He tightened up after the first period and paid the price. He got called for stalling before giving up the TD.
I'm not entirely sure that Woodley had control for that TD, and if he did, Warner definitely had the escape....that said, that was some poor, uninspiring wrestling from Warner throughout.
Warner will learn from that. A few freshman mistakes cost him.
He was trying to hold on to the 1pt lead. He didn't even try to really score in the 3rd and it cost him. He looked quite angry afterwards though so maybe that's a good lesson for him to never lay off the gas.
Warner will come back with a vengeance at Midlands, I'm sure of it.
I watched the slo-mo replay frame by frame.....Warner did have the whizzer in all the way down, but it looked like Woodley had both hands wrapped around his legs/hips with Warner's hands on the mat and back past 90 degrees. It was a quick bounce before Warner got his legs free again, but it did look like a legit call, or that you could make a good case for the 2 (to my admittedly novice eye).....
Not sure why it wasn;t an escape...
And I agree....probably a good lesson for Warner in the long run. Don't leave yourself open to a last-minute loss by letting off the gas.

That's sort of like watching Robles where his upper body was 15 pounds bigger than his opponent's and he just turned them at will.
Hid neutral offence can disappear at times, too much standing around hoping to use heavy hips to counter. Gas tank looked low too.
