Not to be picky, but why show a 1 pound gain in Akrum's case. One good bowel movement and he's back to 189.
Yes, it's silly, but I'm just noting every change I had to make to our roster from spring to now. In the spring, he was up to 190 and now 191. I know 190 has been the goal for 2-3 years now, so I'm sure breaking through to 191 is a big deal to him.

Also should mention that Boyle is officially listed at wide receiver. We moved him on our roster after spring ball.

I knew it wasn't you Blair. And I hadn't considered your point. I'm sure you're correct. (As always)

I could definitely see Hooker, Beyer and Niemann seeing action on special teams.

Yep, that was my thought as well. I also like Kristian Welch as a possible ST player because he is pretty damn fast for his size. With Outsey gone, I think Fant will be given a shot to compete right away for a backup spot at TE.

With as tightly as they monitor Akrum's weight, I'd guess they take more than one measurement per day and then report some sort of average.

My understanding is that Doyle believes gaining 1-2 pounds of muscle per month is healthy and realistic. Therefore, while 1 pound seems silly on its face, if you look at it as one month's progress it becomes more significant.

Hooker at 203 pounds would seem ready. I see Mends is listed at only 212 on HawkeyeSports but 220 on Rivals.

Wadley maintaining his weight is a very good thing. I am interested and kind of worried about who is going to replace Johnson next year. I thought Slater was going to be a DT but right now they have him at end.
