They were officially eliminated from the playoff picture and Nowitzki is dealing with the injury to Uthoff will likely get some minutes here at the end. Still an uphill battle to make a roster for the start of next season, but great work to put himself in position to at least get the opportunity here at the end of the year. He's in an organization that is well run, so hopefully he can make a good impression here at the end of the season.

Dallas definitely is a good organization to get involved with. They have no problem adding undrafted guys, or moving on from draft picks. Some front offices have larger egos and would rather stick with their picks then admit they were wrong and move in a different direction.

Not to mention Dirk's time is coming to an end. The Mavs would love to have another 6'11" stretch four who can score from each level on the floor. Hope JU's no nonsense approach, and hard work pay off for him and his family.
