Vegas review no one asked for

Every time we've been to Vegas we've had a great time, I think maybe 5 times we've been. I like playing cards and craps. The wife and I love the shows and all the different food. Just people watching is a good time also. Of course it's not cheap but I don't think it's a lot different then Chicago, Key West, New Orleans, San Francisco or any of the other vacations we go on. Traveling isn't cheap these day's.

Just down in the Hollywood, FL area along A1A and it is not cheap there as we all know. Great restaurants but not going to get out of there less than $100 per person on food and drink. Could be double that depending on food selection. Love the seafood towers and stone crab that’s about to go away till fall. Got our fill of it for another season.

Daily Resort Charge includes: Internet access; bicycles; beach chairs & umbrellas; paddle boards & kayaks; fishing rods with bait; two water vessels, refillable throughout stay; recreational amenities & equipment; family activities; pool & beach activities/delights; daily sunset toast/ceremony.

All of that is included at many Caribbean resorts with no resort fee. It's just a part of doing business. Then there is the issue that you pay it whether you use any of it or not. They do it so that when people are comparing pricing they look better. They also do it because they can raise that resort fee any time they want thereby increasing the price you pay, even after you have booked your trip. They put in their terms and conditions that resort fees are subject to change. So if you book it and they raise it from $50 per night to $100 per night there is jack all you can do about it.

Jim Bean is rot gut bourbon. Sorry to say. I try to stay in the family of Buffalo Trace and drink small but good product. Quality over quantity.
I’m lucky Outback…what’s “rot gut” for you is “nectar of the gods” for me..I like cheap cigars, too!
I have always like the taste of Jim Beam….

Going to Vegas two weeks from today. Group of buddies invited me to go see Dead & Company at the Sphere. I'm not into the dead so I told them no. Then they said they would pay for me so I decided why not, free trip to the sphere. Then I found out the tickets suck ass and are underneath the mezzanine so we won't be able to see the sphere really anyway.

Were getting an Airbnb with a pool. It's $1400 for 4 nights. 5 guys each get our own bed so should be good. Although 4 nights in Vegas is forever.

I went twice last year. Once in August with my wife and it was 115 degrees so we spent most of the time at the pool melting. Brutal walking around town, she loved the sports book where we could sit and bet on games for hours. Went the Raider/Cowboy pre season game.

Took my son to the Raider/Steeler game in October. But we were only there overnight.

It is crazy expensive, but I think having the car and staying at the Airbnb we can save some money.

That's for sure, last winter we were in Chicago and had dinner at RPM Seafood, $400. Year before down in Key West we had lunch at Latitudes on sunset key and it's a $300 lunch and I had a lobster roll. The stone crabs were amazing though. If you're going to popular vacation spots it's not going to be cheap.

This is one thing will not do, when it's over 100 degrees have the door man get you a cab to the next stop. F that walking around outside when it's that hot. I'm either in side or in a pool.

I had an In and Out cheeseburger, fries and a malt for $16… the malt was very good.
