ICHS grad.
Played @ SUI (for those that remember)
Spent 20 years in college athletics.
Had a team in the football National Championship.
Scheduled games for 3 programs.
Never scheduled an FCS team that could not be defeated.
Researched the team & quarterback. Prior history...
As for Power 5, coaching change.
Regarding Iowa football, yes, they should have beat NDSU.
But, it's a dumb schedule (no recruits, a lose-lose)
Barta and Taylor, really made a mistake -- trying to impress former
colleagues and friends.
Be smart.
Quit the FCS schedule. Plenty of teams for non con.
When I was around it was Nebraska, UCLA, Arizona.
But, the salaries became huge and the schedule became soft for wins.
At the same time, schedule smart.
You can get a better opponent that if you do the research and a good game for the fans.
Miss the pennants of the opposing teams sold at the games.
Go Hawks -- this will be a good season.
