If he takes to long to decide between these 3 i’m going to have to wonder if he can handle UI on the book side.
No concerns about anyone who got into rutgers handling the other two.

So you're saying when the coaches encourage kids to be deliberative and do their homework before committing they aren't bright?

In this case the coachs should just tell him this should be a 2 min decision and let us know by the weekend after your last visit.

Iowa is pretty stocked with young talent and if I remember this dude would have to sit a yr correct?

Maybe Iowa doesn't want like 8 scholly TE'S
Kstate and Nebraska have similar TE numbers as Iowa.

Similar quality too? Asking because I honestly don’t know.

Nebraska has a lot of good young talent at TE. Most are confused by the guy even visiting or if Nebraska really would use their last spot on him. TE is about the least of Nebraska fans concerns. He looks like he can be pretty good, just not sure how much Nebraska needs him.

I'm Iowa biased so my opinion is not particularly objective. I believe three factors favor Iowa over NE and KST: (1) Iowa's offensive philosophy vis-à-vis use of their TEs (2) Two Iowa TEs (Weitiing & Cook) will graduate, after this season, and (3) proximity to family. Not sure how much (3) will play in his decision but (1) and (2) should be strong factors IMO.

Agreed.......

Covering your bases in case he chooses elsewhere?

No, I just heard through the grapevine that Iowa has decided to focus more on HS recruits, because the staff thinks they can get another really good prospect to pair with Yelverton. We shall see!

I don’t think if Iowa gets him or not will factor in them getting a 2nd TE which sounds like is the plan this class. Plus losing 2 guys early it would be great to bring in another guy who’d be an upperclassman after redshirting along with Iowa having 2 seniors this year as another poster mentioned.

You sold me.

Cue Iowa or Nebraska fans saying how their staffs cooled on him after he picks one or the other.
If he still considers Springfield home ... then maybe Kansas State gets the nod due to proximity. Also, KSU has a new coaching staff ... so all sort of selling of opportunity come from such staffs.

Obviously Scott Frost will try to sell him with the dynamicism of youth and the success of his TE at UCF.

If the Hawks still have a spot for Vokalek ... then obviously the Hawks have the benefit of a very TE-happy O and the benefit of proximity to his parents.

So how will things transpire? Who knows?

I don't think it's Iowa. That said, we'll be in good shape with this class.

Iowa's window closed a week ago. I think Kansas State is out too.

We're hearing either Nebraska or Missouri State, where his girlfriend goes to school.
Sounds like a 20 year old Mid-West kid who left to play out-of-state B1G football, didn't get the targets/starts he wanted, was unhappy, got a little homesick, and moved back with his family ~ it can happen anywhere :)
