TE is not a position I worry about. I think we will be fine this year and we have real studs coming in ... Iowa has and is stepping up its recruiting game. Gonna be a continued fun ride ...

Agreed, we are looking at several young candidates who already have or will visit Iowa City. No concerns whatsoever at the TE position.

How sad is it for fans like you that lately this is the only things you can only boast about. That and moral victories on the field by barely losing to Iowa and OSU last year. For a fan base that has so much arrogance and hubris it is quite funny how much you brag about between January and August but come the season it gets a little more quite since there aren't many accomplishments on the field last couple of years.
Also you do realize Iowa has a TE commit from TX who has 30+ offers including Nebraska.

With the apparent success with high school TEs coming to Iowa, I didn't understand the appeal of the Rutger's kid.
Maybe the staff was just trying to push up the offers from competing schools?
