Vokolek to decide this week

So because some Iowa creeps - who we probably don’t want on this board either - are hanging out on Nebraska boards that is validation for you being a creep on this board? That makes sense.
considering all the people that get banned there, I highly doubt there are many(if any) annoying iowa fans there......

Lol Iowa scraps when it comes to recruiting. Go check out the last 30 years of recruiting rankings. We don't need Iowa scraps. Neb does fine in the recruiting department vs Iowa.

Here's Iowa's instate D1 talent for 2021. Notice anything?

T.J. Bollers, DE from Clear Creek Amana
-Offers from Iowa, Iowa State, Nebraska, Minnesota, Michigan, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Virginia Tech, and Vanderbilt

Connor Colby, OL from Cedar Rapids Kennedy
-Offers from Iowa, Iowa State, Ohio State, Michigan, Nebraska, Minnesota, and Virginia Tech

Jeff Bowie, DE from West Branch
-Offers from Iowa, Iowa State, Nebraska, Minnesota, Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech, and Northern Illinois

Griffin Liddle, DT from Bettendorf
-Offers from Iowa, Iowa State, Nebraska, Michigan State, and Minnesota

Henry Lutovsky, OL from Mount Pleasant
-Offers from Iowa State, Nebraska, and Missouri

Jaden Harrell, LB from Urbandale
-Offers from Iowa and Nebraska

Seth Malcom, LB from Fremont-Mills
-Offers from Iowa State and Nebraska

Brody Brecht, WR from Ankeny
-Offers from Iowa State and William & Mary

Zach Twedt, LB from Roland-Story
-Offers from Iowa and Iowa State (Iowa State commit)

Luke Pinnick, OL from West Marshall
-Offer from Iowa State

Marcus Morgan, QB/ATH from Iowa City West
-Offer from Iowa State

Of course Nebraska offers every kid who's ever touched a football, so it makes sense. Nebraska offered 424 kids in the class of 2019 to Iowa's 138. Talk about desperate.

I guess those offers translate to a better recruiting class.... Too bad Iowa couldn't be more "desperate" and get better athletes.

A Rutgers transfer that you wanted, but it took him too long. If you land him, you would be running your mouth about being TE U, and locking up yet another TE because the best TE's come out of Iowa. Correct?

Correct. It’s too bad he didn’t end up at Iowa because he likely would have been a guaranteed draft pick.

Lmao. The hawks have been squatting in your head for a long long time. I am embarrassed for you that you would go to such mental gymnastics to try to claim a “co-championship” when you guys lost 3 games in the Big Ten and got whipped by 40 points to the 3rd best team in the Leaders division. At best you could only claim you were the 4th best team in the league that year.

Under no circumstances does this even remotely compare to Iowa’s 2 championships under Ferentz - seasons where Iowa faced a USC dynasty in the Orange Bowl and in ‘04 beating the defending National Champs. We were either #1 or #2 in the league that year with no debate with a 3rd or fourth place team and the format of the league dictated a co-championship at the time. We’re not going to claim ‘15 as a championship even though we were the only team in the league to be undefeated after 12 games because we’re not ignorant dolts like you.

Wow going all the way back to 2004....well we made the national championship in 2001 then (something Iowa has never done) and lost to the second best team of all-time. 2015 FAKE ID year....couldn't beat Mich St who lost 35-0 to Bama and got absolutely waxed to Stanford. Good thing Iowa loves to stay away from the P12 teams since they get exposed all the time out there. Better keep scheduling Iowa State, North Dakota St (whoops), No Illinois, Ball State, UNI etc. Kirk loves patting wins with the poor from the midwest

Neb dude over on the message board of a team that has owned his boys of late, boasting about Neb's long-time recruiting prowess over that team....and has no idea how stupid he makes himself and his program look.

Man, this just never gets old. Thank you.

We wanted him for depth. You guys wanted him to play. He looked at the young TEs we have and knew that after redshirting next season he'd have basically zero chance of seeing the field at Iowa. Good choice for him. Nice little get for the Nebraska program. Too bad he doesn't play defense.

As long as Nebby stays on the schedule I'm good... that's become an automatic W for us.

Fan of 2001 Nebraska calling 2015 Iowa a "Fake ID." That's some funny sh#t.

Correct me if I'm wrong hasn't Nebraska lost to Troy and N. Illinois in back to back years? Plus you just lost to a 5-7 Colorado team last year.

Also you sound like an idiot because Nebraska schedules 2 non power 5 teams every there genius.

You're on our board begging for our approval after 4 straight losses. We're doing just fine with the athletes we get.
Just fine? lol Most school don't classify 7-9 wins a years as "just fine" Actually Neb already fired 2 coaches for just that reason. I would happily take these last 2 years, 4 year, 15 years in an attempt to be better than Iowas, "just fine"

Didn't Iowa lose to N illinois is 2013? and Central Mich in 2012, that is also back to back years no? and lost to a 5-7 Iowa St team in 2012. So not sure what point you are attempt to prove here?

More of the "we're better because we expect more..." argument. Let us know when you're better because you're actually a better football team.

Oh really? There are 130 FBS schools. You're saying 66 of them wouldn't be thrilled with 7-9 wins a year? (KF averages better than 7 wins per year, not to mention he has numerous 10 and more win seasons to go with his numerous Big Ten and national coach of the year awards, and numerous top 10 finishes, but we'll go with your made up scenario)

And I'm sure you would be happy to take Nebraska's last 15 years. It's exactly what a dumbass Husker fan would do.

We are a better football team because we have accomplished much more. Similar to how Iowa views themselves as a better football team than Iowa St. Short term (IE 4 years) yes Iowa has had the better team. Long term it isn't and won't be close.

If you guys would just show us on the field, you wouldn't have to come here every day to try and convince us. It's clear that Iowa is in your head. I mean yours in particular. You and about 5 other message board jockeys have a serious case of Iowa Hawkeye butthurt. You do come here every day......so we are clearly in your head every day, even in the off season. I'm sorry that it hurts so bad.

Nebraska last 15-20 years have been the same as Iowas last 15-20 years. Both teams have been nothing great, with shitty years mixed in.

Again, our HC has numerous National and Conference Coach of the Year Awards. We've finished in the top ten five times. We've won two conference championships. YOUR last 15-20 years have been shitty. Ours have been pretty great.

Also have you seen this awesome video I made? It's awesome.

No, it is the off season and there is nothing much going on over at our board. Might as well get a bit of laughs over here.

How many NC have you had in this "pretty great" stretch or yours? You can go back more than 15-20 years if you need a larger time frame? Any there either?

Sticks in my mind you guys got waxed by Colorado that year and after that the BCS made a rule change saying you had to be the champion of your conference in order to play in the BCS Title Game. Nebby should stick to scheduling Troy, (whoops).

I think we're having a miscommunication here. By "better football team," I meant that you could actually beat us in a football game, or maybe finish with a better record than us. Sorry if that was unclear.

I really don't care what you believe. Iowa is like that annoying little brother. No real threat, but really fun to mess with to see if you can get him to cry. Nothing more than that.

Always fun to see the "Peaked in High School Rob Lowe" fanbase of college football feeling salty. Good for you. Don't take shite from little bro, even if he basically shoves his foot up your ass every day of the week. You can always have mom tell him to knock it off.

I'm not the idiot who ripped on the other school for playing those teams and having lost some games to smaller schools. Yeah Iowa lost in 13' to a ranked NIU and a bad Iowa team in 12' lost to Central Michigan. I'm was throwing out those losses last 2 years and calling him out for the hypocrisy of his statement. You rip on Iowa for playing these teams and losing to them yet at the same team your school has done the same thing and on top of it more recently.

Next time maybe for context see the post to which one is replying to that is quoted and then you'd maybe understand the point of the post a little more.

Regardless of the recruiting “rankings”, I would say that Iowa has actually had better classes the past 3 to 5 years based on results, defections, and the general “knucklehead” element of Nebby recruits.

Yeah, pretty much the same.....if you don't count an Orange Bowl win, an undefeated regular season, 2 more recent conference championships, 5 more recent top 10 finishes, multiple bowl wins over highly ranked SEC teams and about a dozen national award winners.
