How is he even on the list this year? He has done all in his power to avoid being a college or Olympic athlete, until he could avoid it no longer.

Nah, Lee Kiefer gets my vote. She singlehandedly got me interested in fencing. Looks certainly helped, but her talent is unreal. Back to back golds is quite the achievement.

Voted for Katie Ledecky. I looked up that she hasn't won it and figure the best women's swimmer in history should win this award at least once. Criteria seems pretty vague. I know Spencer won this and Caitlin Clark the last two years but you have two Rutgers freshman basketball players on here and Paralympians (swimming without arms is pretty amazing!) along with Gable who has done nothing deserving in 2024, no idea how I'm supposed to judge this thing.
