For 3/10 it is a joke. For 2/10 they don’t really deserve to be in the list (goldmom and trad), the other 5/10 suck.

I like you, but shut your dumb ass mouth with talk of Trad not belonging on this list. This trophy posters get for this is a replica of trads avatar. Hes the reason this award exists.
You can go count nominations but i only saw 7 for Chris. You needed 12 to tie for last spot.
He was in the nomination thread. Took it over around page 4 and made it a political argument, surprisingly.
trad’s cooking threads with pics separate him from the lunatic/idiotic garbage posters with nary a redeeming quality. If trad was the inspiration the field is just much deeper now.
I think the only argument for Trad (and a lesser extent goldmom) is that they are playing with higher expectations. They have demonstrated the ability to read, write and some degree of thoughtfulness. Most of the others - excluding birch - are objectively far worse posters, but they haven't displayed anything that would call for even moderate expectations.
Once the ballots are run through a Dominion machine, you'll pick up votes bigly.
With plenty of profanity and name-calling, I trust?
And that still did not clinch a spot on the list of finalists? I must have missed some other dynamic somewhere.
Since, they all seem to be drawn from the pool of sane, thoughtful contributors, I would hate to vote for someone and then have them put me on ignore.
