I've had way worse service at Target than I have at Walmart, but I'm just one guy. I'll tell you this, I'll never set another foot in Target again.
Kinda looks like they're closing stores in smaller communiites AFTER the local businesses had to stop.I doubt seriously that the minimum wage is $10........ WalMart does far more damage to local economies than they save.

These communities will some day thank their lucky stars for these closings.Some folks are speculating that minimum wage laws are affecting which Walmarts are chosen to close.
In Oakland, employees and city officials expressed shock, and some speculated that the city’s minimum-wage law played a part in the decision to shutter the store there. The Walmart in San Jose, which also boosted the minimum wage, will shut as well. The two stores in San Leandro, which has no minimum-wage law that supersedes the state’s, will remain open.
