These guys are heroes. They ran into the building.

Great work for such a shitty situation.

Fuking great shot. 15-20 yards away and put POS down with 1-2 shots

I got emotional just watching that

I did a little too, for the perp.

The blood-thirsty here will say “F her”, like they did when I stated similar sadness for the Omaha mall shooter, but we are talking about people in such pain to get to the point where they commit these crimes. A live was lost there, too.

First off, I applaud the bravery of these officers and understand there really was no other viable outcome to this situation--heroes the lot of them! Additionally, it's hard to not feel continually depressed knowing that once again innocents have lost their lives to extreme violence. This photo sums it up:

That said, I see nothing wrong with mourning a life lost (despite being at peace with the outcome of the shooter's life). It is very tragic that someone's life became so downtrodden and twisted that extreme violence became the solution. I feel badly for this person's family as well as all the victims in this horror.

I also, having experienced this first hand, feel sorrow for those who commit suicide as well as for the one's left behind.

It was a tactical unit and a refreshing change from the response in Uvalde.

If enough people criticize lax police response, things change.

We do good work here.

LOL. You havent done shit.

But you did say "ACAB".

Has that changed in a couple of weeks for you?

But we don’t know that about the shooter. Yes, violence became the answer but downtrodden and twisted? How do you/we know that? Reports seem to indicate this person was pretty “normal” thus far.

If we have to "guilt" cops into doing the right thing, so be it.

We all hope cops can be reformed.
This is a thread about some amazing cops doing an excellent job and saving people's lives. You have no idea if they felt guilt to act. Stop being a peace of human trash for 5 ****ing minutes or go be a piece of shit somewhere else.

You seem angry.

You angry?

We're all happy cops took this action. The issue is why ALL cops can't act appropriately?

The same reason why ALL drivers can't act appropriately. The same reason why ALL customers can't act appropriately. The same reason why all ALL neighbors can't act appropriately. It's called the fallibility of humans.

There are an average of 60 million police/civilian interactions each year. If they were ALL bad, Escape from LA would look like Breakfast at Tiffany's by comparison.
