I watched this video and wondered if we were sending them any. Apparently not. But why not? If you google, you'll find articles saying Ukraine wants them, doesn't want them, is secretly training pilots for them, asked for 100 of them, and more. So who knows?

And this is the problem. Our government is slow walking the aid. We are actually trying to prolong the war rather than trying to end it. For what purpose? Also, we are we sending billions in aid for things like Ukraine government pensions? Why? And why are our Congress people and Senators opposing it, then suddenly changing their minds? Is it lobby money, or something else?

I wish there was a way to send our pilots, if they wanted to, disguised as Ukrainians. They'd probably be all over it. And it would be a vast graveyard of Russian military junk.

My thought is, if they're able to operate the Su-25s still at this point, then they could operate the A-10s.
They're made for dealing with short and rough strips.
The high mounted engines don't suck up debris the way the belly mounted intake on the F-16 does.
It also has all kinds of redundancies, that the single engine F-16 doesn't.
They'd get shot down.
This is contested air space, and they were expected to live short, violent lives in an '80s European conflict.
But it would be a multiplier to the dwindling Su-25 stocks.
Better than nothing.

This is a strategic operation; protracted conflict using Ukrainians as our front line defense in weakening Russian forces to prevent advancement of their forces beyond Ukraine. We know they’re taking it in the end. Keep Europe buying US energy and keep Russia in their sandbox.
