Was Ethel Rosenberg falsely convicted and executed?

Recently declassified documents create more doubt about her complicity in her husband's espionage.

Venona has added significant information to the case of Julius and Ethel Rosenberg, making it clear Julius was guilty of espionage, and also showing that Ethel, while not acting as a principal, still acted as an accessory who took part in Julius's espionage activity and played a role in the recruitment of her brother for atomic espionage.[45]

Julius and Ethel Rosenberg also had another connection to a recruit for the Soviets named David Greenglass, who was Ethel's brother and Julius's brother-in-law.

Venona and other recent information has shown that, while the content of Julius' atomic espionage was not as vital to the Soviets as alleged at the time of his espionage activities, in other fields it was extensive. The information Rosenberg passed to the Soviets concerned the proximity fuze, design and production information on the Lockheed P-80 jet fighter, and thousands of classified reports from Emerson Radio.

Ethel should have never been juiced. There is evidence that Julius was involved in some level of espionage….but he’d never be executed today. Ethel was executed because she “stood by her man”…..and perhaps because she was Jewish. There is a belief of thought out there that the Rosenberg’s Jewishness was their most serious crime.

An objective view is needed for this case. Two American citizens
Julius and Ethel Rosenberg were convicted in 1951 of espionage for
leaking atomic data to Moscow. As Communist spies they were
stealing American secrets which made them traitors.

These disloyal citizens were given appeals for their case. It was not
until 1953 that they finally went to the electric chair for their crime.
They had made Soviet scientists very successful in making atomic
bombs. They were given two years after conviction to prove their
innocence.

Was evidence useful to them suppressed? That is the point of the article.

I'll be the 1st to admit, I haven't seen all evidence in their case. However, based on what I've read about their case, Ethel should never have been even charged and Julius should have been jailed for a time, but absolutely not have been executed.

if they had done what they did 10/15 years later, she'd have been released and he'd have been sentenced to 10-15 years. The Red Scare is what killed them.
