Yes they did and when compared to the "best conference in the country" crap isu grads were spewing the Texas Ten underperformed.
It is pretty clear that the best conference is the ACC.
Oklahoma may be really good but they definitely got a free pass with that West region. That was an absolute joke or a thank you to the OK AD for chairing the selection committee. OK got 2 patsies followed by teams from the worst 2 performing power conferences in the tourney; PAC12 & SEC. You could have put a number of teams that were knocked out in that region in place of them and they'd be sitting in the final four.
Now KU at least had to earn their advancement with a much tougher road.
And the B1G won the ACC/B1G challenge again this season.
Overall I guess you can say that the B1G, as a whole, underperformed mostly thanks to MSU bowing out in the 1st round. MSU should have made it to the elite 8. Everyone else played within 1 round of their seed. Does Mich get credit for winning their play in game?
