Thanks. I'm proud of my ability to not only read, but also comprehend the Bill of Rights. I've read the Federalist papers too. You should try it.
I'm sure your well versed in the workings of constitutional law. My point was that MAGA tends to support states rights....until they don't. You'll also note that the Federalist papers discussed both federalist and anti-federalist principles so you'd need to cite which specific letter your in favor of. Guarantee Hamilton would be in favor of gun control....oh wait....

Really? That's a nice generalization. I can't speak for MAGA, but most libertarians support the Constitution, which is based on enumerated rights and the Bill of Rights.

You and Joes Place must be related. Are goal posts heavy?

If you vote Republican you're MAGA. Literally the slogan of the nominee. You can tell me that Trump isn't the nominee yet, but please save this post and come back when it's official.

I know we've been over this on this site, but you do know what "well regulated" means in the context of the 2A? It means in effective shape to fight.

A person could interpret the 2A to mean that the militia (the citizens) are to be armed to the teeth with the weapons of modern warfare. Citizens back in those days owned cannons and ships in addition to handheld arms. Think of the modern day equivalent.

I'm not advocating for people to have the ability to own a personal RPG or a howitzer. I'm simple saying I hate it when anti-gun people throw out the word "regulated" and think it means "restrictions" because it does not. You're actually defeating your own argument bringing that up.
Most Constitutional scholars view "well-regulated" as meaning well-organized, well-armed, well-disciplined and well-trained. We have virtually none of that here in this country in regards to firearm ownership by its citizenry.
