***WBB GAME: Iowa vs Nebraska 1/16***

My wife and I will be there and we will be wearing black. This will be a tough game.

Lmao @ Nebraska's twitter page. For the second time in a week it's been 8 vs 5 why they lose. Hard luck...

5-8 Nebraska Free throws
31-34 Iowa

And no class Clark makes a layup with one second left. Nebraska was missing top two players as well. On the road.

Yeah there will be complaints.

Does it matter? You play to the whistle. No reason to trash her for shooting a layup. It seems like everyone wants to hate on Clark because she competes. Just like everyone is trashing her for her 3 point % and last year everyone was saying she was a terrible teammate and a B!tch.

People should really stop attacking her character and see Clark for who she is. On the court she's a competitor and she's going to play hard and play till the end.

But she's also a great teammate and an even better person on and off the court. No surpise that no one is talking about Clark giving away her shoes to a young fan after the win at Nebraska last week.

Please don't post if you're just gonna run your mouth and hate on Clark for no good reason.

Nebraska is not athletic enough to successfully play that degree of pressure defense without fouling. Coach should've made a defensive adjustment in the 2H, but instead buckled down and didn't change their ways.

99% of basketball players will run out the clock in that situation. I know she is a great player. She may do some very commendable things but that is not one of them.

No complaints from me. Seemed like Coach Bluder had a problem with the Nebraska coach, I suspect over their overly physical play. I know it is the Big Ten, but they crossed a line last week and today with some of their fouls. First time I can remember Coach Bluder NOT telling her players to just let the shot clock run out at the end. And Iowa didn't do the handshake line afterwards.

It would be one thing if we were up 30 points but the game was closer than the score. It's really not a big deal. It's not like Nebraska was calling off their defense. I don't see anything wrong with scoring, especially considering how aggressively Nebraska defended and how physical they were all game

"overly physical play"? And Iowa had 1 foul at halftime. I don't blame Iowa for the poor officiating. But if it were reversed I know Iowa fans would be complaining too.

Iowa attacked the paint all game and got to the rim. Nebraska was jacking threes and shooting jump shots. Typically when you attack the basket you get to the line and when you shoot 3s and jumpers you're much less likely to draw a foul.

There were fouls on both sides that could have been called and weren't. Nebraska was much more physical in both games, however. Iowa's style of play today is why they got more whistles. Iowa also played zone on defense and for the most part was sagging off to slow Nebraska's outside shooting. Nebraska was face guarding on pretty much every possession. You're going to get more fouls calls on you when you're up on players as opposed to sagging off.

The refs for the most part were pretty fair. The freethrow desparity was more about style of play than officiating.

They haven't been doing the handshake at the end of the game lately at least.

Bluder said that all the coaches in the league made it point not to do a handshake line. It was agreed upon by the league as a precaution due to so many teams having covid issuea.
Not faulting Lisa but what a joke—you run up and down for 40 minutes and slam in to each other, bump into each other, touch the same basketball, help each other up off the floor, but yet the handshake is going to kill us all?
I get it: it’s optics in the Covid world but insane.

It wasn't just Bluder. All the coaches in the league got together and made a decision. It is what it is.
