As a long standing Hawkeye fan, I attended both the OSU vs iowa and the OSU vs Indiana WBB games. The games were equally important from the Buckeye's chances to win the conference perspective. However, the experience for the visiting teams was dramatticaly different. iowa played before a record crowd and the atmosphere was electric thru out the contest! The Indiana team drew less that half the crowd and it truly felt like "another game" experience. The crowd and the Buckeye team actually seemed a little "flat" in the first few minutes, noise never reached that which was a constant thunder during the Iowa game and , by all appearances, no one ever considered storming the court as the Buckeye's edged out their victory! (BTW, Cottie McMahon had no where near the game she had against Iowa.)
Given that OSU and Indiana only have to play each other once during the regular season, if iowa can get a share of first place at the end of the regular season, they truly will deserve the championship!
