Looks like Illinois St moved up to #22 after keeping it within 40 to Iowa.

Coincidentally enough, they dropped to #22 in the FCS poll. They were #20 last week. North Dakota was #22 last week but moved up to #20 this week despite losing to Iowa State. So both Iowa and ISU were playing (on paper) pretty even opponents last week.

SDSU and NDSU still 1 and 2 despite losing, but Montana State leapfrogged their in state rival to become 3 after defeating the fighting Deacon Hills!

Michigan still overrated. Texas/Michigan next week will be interesting

Michigan probably gonna get exposed.
Michigan is basically Iowa with somewhat better resources.

Can't help but wonder if McNamara is kicking himself for leaving Ann Arbor. Odds are, he'd probably be starting in Ann Arbor (and Sully would be starting in Iowa City. A win-win).

That is assuming Sullivan would be better than Cade in our offense.

Really? Why would Cade be kicking himself? Michigan screwed him and All over and were not going to give medical clearance to either because they went out and got second opinions and had their surgeries against the M doctors advice. He was probably never going to play at Michigan again.

Kinda surprised the Hawks gained 4 spots in the AP, since "it was only Illinois St".
Most of the time, it's a case of who lost ahead of you and you just naturally move up. In this case, FSU, TA&M, and Clemson all lost ahead of us, so we move up those 3 spots, plus NC St didn't look all that great against Western Carolina.

Michigan is the all time winningest program in college football... a little more than Iowa with "somewhat better resources"

That really is hard to do.
Required a unique set of circumstances:

Top 10 preseason ranking (a paper tiger based on last year)
2 games in "1 week" (meaning they played in the week 0 opener)
Lose both games (who they really are)

Not a good time to be an FSU fan

Don't know if I've ever seen a team (Florida St.) Ranked in top 10 one week and the next not even in the others receiving votes.
Florida St has certainly "earned" that distinction. They are loaded with talent and look absolutely horrible.

Sounds like a golden opportunity for someone we know...

WE dont know ISU light was a solid FCS team.
Right. First week games can be pretty deceiving. Everyone was talking about how good Georgia Tech looked after beating FSU in Ireland, and now everyone knows that all they did was struggle to beat a shitty FSU team that got boat raced by Boston College at home this week.

Built a great deal by Bo who let his son get molested by the team doc and kept that covered up. Just google it as Bo's son says it all happened.
